A100 Vertical Form Fill and Seal packing machine.

Low-cost entry level fully automatic vertical form fill seal, automatic vertical form fill seal, packing machine with electrical and pneumatic operation. Robust construction using quality engineered materials, operator friendly providing increased output and reduced costs. Two pneumatic cylinders create the horizontal seal and vertical seal by moving the sealing jaws and vertical seal into the packaging film, one pneumatic cylinder controls a moving carriage which determines the length of your pack. The electrics are controlled by a Mitsubishi PLC and the heaters are controlled by OMRON temperature controls.

This is a low-cost, entry level, fully automatic vertical form fill seal packing machine with pneumatic and electrical operation. Its robust construction and easy operation allows for increased efficiency and output whilst reducing costs and human error.​

Two pneumatic cylinders create vertical and horizontal seals by moving sealing jaws whilst another pneumatic cylinder controls a moving carriage determining the length of the pack. The electronic parts are controlled by a Mitsubishi PLC and the heaters are controlled by OMRON temperature controls.

This machine can create packs from 30mm-200mm wide and 50mm-250mm long.

  • Vertical seal 280mm long, made from anodised aluminium.
  • Sealing jaws 240mm wide (up to 200mm wide pack) made from stainless steel.
  • Long lasting durable cutting knife, easily removable for cleaning and replacement.
  • Machine frame made from 20mm thick aluminium, allowing stable mounting of any feed system.
  • Forming set (depending on customers pack width) for forming the pack from the roll of film.
  • Gas Flush (optional dependant on requirements).
  • Gusset Tuck (optional dependent on requirements).
  • Bag pricker (optional dependent on requirements).
  • Raise and lower cylinder moves the carriage to get the sealing jaws to the correct position.
  • Vertical seal cylinder pushes the vertical seal bar into the film to create the rear vertical seal on the pack.
  • Jaw seal cylinder pushes the sealing jaws into the film to create the top and bottom horizontal seals on the pack.
  • Knife cylinders push the cutting knife through the film at the correct time to cut the pack to the correct length.
  • Brake cylinder stops the film unwinding from reel holder during full operation.
  • Mitsubishi PLC for all inputs and outputs.
  • Omron temperature controls for the vertical and jaw seals, allowing setting up to 200ºC. Controls use PID control to maintain a consistent temperature level.
  • Viper safety relay wired in with emergency stop and full guarding.
  • Contactor and overload to control outfeed conveyor.
  • Sensors to detect carriage movement for bag length and knife cut time.
  • Sensor for detecting registration mark on the film.
  • Safety sensor on sealing jaws to prevent operation with any obstruction.
  • 110V electrical cartridge heaters with J type thermocouple in sealed housing for temperature control.
  • Electrical safety circuit provides operator safety to risk level 3.
  • Stop category 0 as defined by EN60204-1.
  • The above offers double redundancy electrically and isolating the pneumatic supply.
  • Safety sensor on sealing jaws to prevent operation with any obstruction.
  • Full guarding in place, when opened pneumatic supply is isolated.
  • Safety gate interlocks prevent operation of machine when opened.
