Origin Coffee approached us with a unique challenge: they needed to pack 2kg of coffee beans into a custom quad seal bag. Their bag dimensions exceeded the capacity of our largest machine, presenting us with an exciting opportunity to develop something bespoke for them.
After discussing their exact requirements, we proposed designing a custom machine to handle the job. Once the initial designs were complete, we shared our plans with Origin Coffee, and their team was delighted with the solution. With their approval, we set about bringing the design to life.
Into the build phase, our engineering team worked meticulously to create the custom machine. Within our determined timescale, we had a fully operational solution. Our new machine was up and running, successfully packing 2kg of Origin Coffee’s beans into their stand-up quad bags.

Communication has been outstanding from the start. Whether it’s booking services, ordering spares, or troubleshooting, you and the team are always ready to assist and remarkably quick at getting both parts and personnel out to us – even all the way down here in deepest Cornwall.
In terms of machine capabilities, the maximum we’ve ever pushed through is 2,400kg in six hours, and we could have done more if we had the coffee roasted. Currently, the machine is outperforming both the S70 and S35 in terms of the finished product, consistently reaching 1 tonne per hour.
We are absolutely thrilled with the machine quality. The only issues we’ve faced so far have been due to user error, and we push the unit to its limits. Once we dialled it in for our new packaging, it’s been an absolute dream to use – we can’t imagine keeping up without it now. On average, we’re processing 25 tonnes a month on the Form and Fill.
After-sales care has also been top-notch. We’ve never had trouble getting in touch with anyone, and the team has always been on hand to help troubleshoot and diagnose any issues. First-class service all around.
